SOLD

Reluctant Sale, 1930 Ford coupe, HOTROD (project)

NOTE:- all fenders, hood, valance panels, running boards are included but not shown in picture.

Due to changing circumstances, (downsizing) I have to very reluctantly sell my on going Hotrod project.

This Hotrod has been built to the highest standards and is near completed. Just requires the new owner to provide paint and upholstery to finish it off, to their own tastes and ideas.

The body is an original 1930 Ford coupe, all steel.

All fenders are Henries finest steel. Fully panel beaten, rust removed, steelout out etc. Huge amount of work has been put into this project so far and so close to the end.

The Chassis features Bob Armitage repro rails with Rod City IFS front end, all polished stainless steel. Stainless rear 4 bar kit also by Rod City. Aldan coil overs all round.

Virtually every part required to complete this car is included, including original mint headlights and all dress up items for the engine. (finned rocker covers, air cleaner, Lokar etc parts.)

Engine is a crate 325hp, alloy heads, Chev 350. Trans is a reco T700 4 speed with stage two shift kit.

The pictures below do not show the front fenders or running boards and valance panels but these are all included and ready for paint.

All of the garnish molds are included also. Side and rear windows, front A pillar sides. Also a new repro windscreen frame is included along with all the other new parts.

The files below have all of the pictures of the cars in a pdf document which you can download and view.

The car is shown as I was moving out of the garage from the old house. Sadly, I no longer have this sort of space at the new house to finish the car.

This what I started with:

The whole body was pulled apart and dipped in Molasses to remove all rust, then repairs were made as required.

The Chassis was built by Vintage and Classic garage (Clayton) from new rails and Rod City parts.

Then, a new floor frame was constructed and the body refitted to it.

NOTE the tube crossmember built for this car. Unusual in an A ,model chassis.

These pdf files can be downloaded for viewing of the many pictures of the car and parts included.
